[Chambers Wedding || Sierra Vista, VA]

Oh man, this one has been a long time coming!

We were so honored to tackle both photo & video for Chris and Emily’s precious wedding day (video teaser is HERE & highlight reel coming real soon!)

It’s so incredible fun to work side-by-side with Clay as we do photography and videography for a wedding. For those who have asked: when we’re hired to do both photo and video, I take on the photography and Clay takes the videography full throttle. For this wedding, we each had an awesome second shooter & were truly grateful for our little dream team of creatives (scroll to the bottom for all the details & vendors!)

Chris and Emily have an incredible special and authentic love that is truly evident to anyone who has ever interacted with them as a couple. When I got to know them better at their engagement session, you may recall that I actually got teary eyed during the session because I just truly was so humbled to see their love story play out and just deeply grateful I got to capture it!

Their wedding day was no different. I probable cried 4 times! You’ll see through looking through these images just how precious these two are; how much they love each other, and first and foremost their commitment through their love and knowledge of Jesus Christ to pursue this holy covenant with servitude and humility.

There were a lot of REALLY special elements to this day that I just adored. The details were so special; from her gorgeous dress from Ashley Grace Bridal (linked at the bottom) her adorable Tom’s wedges, and precious pearls.

Emily had special moments with her mom, mother-in-law, and her dad that I loved remembering in the editing phase.

Before they walked down the aisle, Chris and Emily had a special “First look, no peek” moment, where they got together (Chris blind folded) and were able to pray & tear their last paper chain signaling NO MORE DAYS until they’d be married! (more on that story here).

They had a big, beautiful bridal party full of humans who just loved on them and supported them from start to finish both on their wedding day, and also for the duration of their relationship.

Both sets of their parents were so incredibly loving and encouraging, her father prayed before dinner and said some sweet words that Clay and I will never forget!

We had the most magical sunset you could have hoped for— Emily and Chris both noted how sweet a gift from Jesus that was!

And finally, some incredible vendors; from the most wonderful florals, to a cookie & ice cream food truck and the yummiest food! (find them ALL linked at the bottom!)
