[Graham & Mariah || Ashland, KY]
Something a lot of people don't know about me and my business is that I actually also do wedding highlight reels!
A little background story- I have had photography as a hobby since setting up my American girl dolls with my mom's film camera, through getting my first digital camera in middle school and *modeling* with my friends, to buying my first DSLR as a freshmen in college to obviously graduating with my master's and now running a business full-time! Wow. What a whirlwind...but such a long time coming.
During all of that while I was in my undergrad I took a video editing course and absolutely loved it. I got to learn several different programs, editing skills and obviously shooting skills. It was so much fun for me and so out of my comfort zone.
Since then I have held a job where I got to make videos for hundreds of students to watch, work on projects, make wedding highlight reels, and even do some fun personal mini videos (mostly of my baby because he's the cutest and I don't want to forget a moment)
It has been a blast for me and I decided last year to open up bookings for highlight reels and I have fallen in love with it!
I keep it simple, coverage of the whole day catching the highlights and minimal audio and then putting the time into making the 6-8ish minute video which is a lot more extensive than photography- but still, a joy and fun break up of what I'm normally working on.
If you have any friends getting married and looking for this type of coverage, please send them my way and I'd love to talk to them!
Anyways, with that background story- I wanted to share a little bit about the following video.

Mariah and Graham went to college with my cousin/precious friend/soul sister Emily and so it was her connection that lead to me having the opportunity to be a part of such an incredible couple's wedding day. (thank you, Em!)
The wedding was in Ashland, KY and oh. my. word. driving through WV/KY was just breathtaking and I am hoping one day I can come back in the fall because I can only fathom what all the greenery and mountain range will be like!
The getting ready, first look, and reception all took place in a really cool building downtown that used to be an old post office. The structure and marble and outside detail of this building was incredible. Such a dream for any photog/videog to capture! I was absolutely loving it.
The ceremony was held at the bride's home church and was absolutely perfect with the sweetest live music, building of the cross, and prayer with the parents.
Graham & Mariah,
Thank you SO much for allowing me to film and create this video. I loved everything about your wedding and absolutely loved re-living the day while creating this highlight reel for you!
