We're moving!

WOOOO, so if you follow any of my personal social media accounts, this is old news— but Clay has a new job in Charlotte, NC & we’re headed to North Carolina!

I know for some people, this is the LEAST shocking announcement, but for others I’m sure it will have come out of the blue— so I figured I’d give a brief update featuring all the FAQs that I got in my inbox last week, ha!

A little background for those who don’t know— Clay and I have been in Virginia since we met in college and got married, and we’ve been in the Roanoke Valley for almost the past 5 years! (I have NO idea how it’s been that long)

Although we have LOVED living in the Roanoke Valley, I think we always wondered in the back of our heads whether or not our time there was permanent, and ultimately decided to start looking for opportunities in NC to be closer to our family and friends.

This last year was a LOT for all of us — for us, it was extremely isolating and just a really lonely season after having Haven & having her have open heart surgery, to coming home and being shut down from the world due to a pandemic. PHEW, for us it just truly pushed us to look harder for those opportunities and the Lord ust truly made a way for it all to happen!

I’ll still be shooting in VA and truly am soooo thankful for all the weddings/families/babies/etc. I’ve shot during my whole career which was dreamed up and started right in central Virginia! I’ll still be booking a small number of weddings in VA in the future, and can let you all know as I travel back and have time for other type of sessions, too!
