[Michael & Mollie || Georgetown, Engagement]

So SO SOO excited to be able to (over) share this session on the blog.

I’ve said it before, but I appreciate being able to share sneaks and peeks on Instagram from different sessions, but man, I love the longevity of my blog and the opportunity to share more of my heart and extended work from my portrait sessions and weddings! (with a little bit of personal life sprinkled in, of course).

I met Michael and Mollie in Georgetown Washington, DC for their engagement session and we truly had a blast!

I have been to DC multiple times since moving to the East coast, but I had actually never been to Georgetown before, so I was more than excited to explore a new city, and these two were the best tour guides!

They had their first date (and many since) in Georgetown, so they knew of several beautiful spots to stop for photos. We also found SO many more along the way.

From cobblestone pathways, beautiful door frames, to spots with the city skyscrapers as the backdrop — this sweet town has so much to offer, but one of my favorite spots was in this beautiful greenery that you’ll see in the first few photos because Michael told me that a year ago when they stumbled across this magical wall, Mollie proclaimed “I want to come back and take engagement photos here!” and it was so fun for me to help fulfill that!

It was incredibly special to hear more about their story, how they fell in love, and just get to know them as individuals & as a couple. They feel like fast friends for me, and I am truly honored to be their photographer and to capture more of their story at their wedding next month!
